I have tons of old gun mags from the 40's through 60's that have these type ads, most based in NYC, chicago or Detroit...Out of curiosity I looked to see if they still existed and sure enough many are but are now based in Oklahoma, Wyoming or Phoenix
What I think is wierd is that Henry Repeating Arms is still in NYC (or New Jersey; maybe worse).http://www.henryrepeating.com/contact.cfmI can't imagine a more hostile environment.

It looks like this was a distributor, not a manufacturer. Probably from the 1950s. In Chicago.
