That's some righteous Global Warming:
Residents claimed this is the first snowfall in the city in over a decade, and flooded social media with pictures and videos of the snow-covered city as they excitedly shared their experience witnessing this “European” weather.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicted that most parts of Egypt will see very cold weather on Monday.
ZOMG! It's the HOTTEST YEAR EVER!!!11!!eleventy!!!
This mockery is brought to you by Mother Nature, who noticed all of the breathless hyperventilation about the heat last summer ...

Once saw a store in Cairo that had fur hooded parkas for sale. Admittedly they probably feel the need for them when it gets below 50 F. Much I suspect as your own tender hide screams in anguish when balmy Floridian weather dips down a bit....

Love it!
BP: Re. one of your earlier comments, I'm still waiting for GW to make me a grilled cheese sandwich... but at this rate, maybe I should hope for a "blizzard" instead (apologies to Dairy Queen)...
It's really stunning that anyone believes in man-made global warming, especially after not a single forecast came true in the last 20 years.
Then more stunning is the people who think anything could be done about it if they do believe it's happening.
That picture looks like it might have been painted by Childe Hassam.
I’m so sick of that whole climate change scam. We know of weather cycles that are over 30 years long; that means the first snow in a decade isn’t climate change it’s weather. Talk climate change when you have evidence of things being different for 60 or 80 years. In the last cold cycle in the North Atlantic, we had snow in south Florida. That was ’77.
The Desert Southwest is right where it should be about now...

Early Dec '76, at the hunting cabin in NEast PA, overnite it got so cold the fuel for the heater froze in the line. Downstairs it was -12*F in the morning. We all left for home. Got home, and there were snowdrifts on the beach, it was -8*F, and the back bay was frozen a foot thick. Lost all the pilings for the docks there when the tidal ice sheet pulled them out of the mud. Chopped ice around a few boats still in the water, and roped all the pilings in the harbor to keep them from eventually floating away. Fun week. Not!
