Get ready to celebrate the 4th American Republic

I explain it at (ahem) typically Borepatchian length here.  Or the TL;DR version:

Hooo-ee. BP I am a fan - but I go to school on the short bus. I tried to read Moldbug and follow the various Moldbuggians but my eyes glaze over because I seriously do not have the time to follow all the links, the footnotes, the bibliographies and the supporting evidence you guys make for your arguments. Trying to digest that amount of information in a recreational reading is like trying to take a sip from a fire hose.

I did not really become politically aware until my early 20's when I got into the shooting sports in a big way - and watched the way gun owners were treated by the press. That was when I knew our institutions were seriously compromised starting first and foremost with the mass media. In my 50's I would get furious with guys like Moldbug when they challenged aspects of the narrative that have been sold to me as fact since my earliest days in school. But when I started homeschooling and tutoring my daughter I realized our education system was irretrievably pozzed too. I realized then that everything was about money and power - and that those in charge of it did not give a rat's arse about working people like me. They would sell me, you, and our entire nations into slavery if it meant a buck for them. Everything up to and including was on the table too if they could get away with it. The world is chock full of lickspittles, morons and retards that will happily go along with it thinking they will cash in on it too, and have never heard of the term 'useful fools'. The Constitution, our laws, and justice are just pretty lies told to gull the unwary into complacency - and they work like a hot damn. I became a cynical, grumpy old man and I went out and stocked up on beer, popcorn, brass and lead. I bob and float on the tides of history just like everyone else.

I am utterly fascinated by the censorship battles over the internet. All of a sudden those guys can't get away with anything. Some blogger - it was probably you - said that the nature of communism is that everything they touch turns to shite. We see that now - nobody trusts the media or buys subscriptions anymore. People are pulling their kids out of public school and sending them to private ones or doing it at home themselves. The elites tell a lie, and they gut busted on it on the social media a week later. Information is power - and our rulers at some point, are going to have to reign that in lest they end up hanging from the lamp posts.

America is still the best country in the world to live in. If our institutions fall, and the bad guys come for me, all I know is that I will see them again in hell and will take as many of them with me when I go.

Happy birthday, Yanks - and God bless America.

Yeah, if they don't like it, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out...

If only we were half the men our forefathers were.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
