Based on the aqueducts and other Roman features still standing, I would postulate that Roman concrete is superior to Florida concrete in important ways.
ASM826, it's pretty clear that Roman concrete is superior to modern concrete in most ways. The use of volcanic ash made it much more durable, but doubtless more expensive than modern equivalents. Y $0.02 worth is that this explains why we need to repave the highways so often (that and there's a LOT of $$$ in Transportation Department paving contracts).
