30 Million unemployed

Great job, CDC.  Told ya.

And the fun is only just begun: Federal Reserve says job losses could top 47 Million.

Tagged "Government cockups" because, well, you know.

Cockup? It may be going according to plan.

In the manufacturing world, Continuous Improvement is the way of life. One of the reasons we have fewer jobs in manufacturing is that productivity is continuously improving, meaning getting more done with less.

The first law there is, "if you don't measure it, you can't improve it." As long as the only consideration is "deaths with" (as opposed to from) the virus, death certificates will be fraudulently attributed to the virus and no consideration will be given to reducing the pain and suffering of those 30 to 47 Million. They'll be ignored.

Especially once you understand the full scope of the fraud...

The ACTUAL reported deaths, from the CDC... not 68,000 as widely reported... a little more than HALF that, at 37,000.

The actual number of deaths per day peak? Not 2,500 to 2,800 as previously reported, but about 1,700... and that was just one bad week.it went down to 1,500 the next week, and is now down to 450. Oh and about 1/3 of all the deaths are just in NYC by itself... about half if you include the NYC metro area.

Data directly from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/

Since the Russia fraud, Stormy Daniels and Ukraine failed to remove Trump maybe this one will. Sorry for all the collateral damage folks.

And there seems to be little we can do to stop it. Sad.

500 families ruined by government for every life lost to disease.

If CDC is saying 37,000 then where is the other number coming from?

"Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven." This is the actual policy of the Left. It's what we are dealing with. The CDC didn't err. It is a long-time stronghold of leftists.

You know what else you can read at the official CDC site?
"*Data during this period are incomplete because of the lag in time between when the death occurred and when the death certificate is completed, submitted to NCHS and processed for reporting purposes. This delay can range from 1 week to 8 weeks or more, depending on the jurisdiction, age, and cause of death."

They continue, on the same page, FFS:

"Why these numbers are different

Provisional death counts may not match counts from other sources, such as media reports or numbers from county health departments. Our counts often track 1–2 weeks behind other data for a number of reasons: Death certificates take time to be completed. There are many steps involved in completing and submitting a death certificate. Waiting for test results can create additional delays. States report at different rates. Currently, 63% of all U.S. deaths are reported within 10 days of the date of death, but there is significant variation among jurisdictions. It takes extra time to code COVID-19 deaths. While 80% of deaths are electronically processed and coded by NCHS within minutes, most deaths from COVID-19 must be coded manually, which takes an average of 7 days. Other reporting systems use different definitions or methods for counting deaths.

Things to know about the data

Provisional counts are not final and are subject to change. Counts from previous weeks are continually revised as additional records are received and processed. Provisional data are not yet complete. Counts will not include all deaths that occurred during a given time period, especially for more recent periods. However, we can estimate how complete our numbers are by looking at the average number of deaths reported in previous years. Death counts should not be compared across jurisdictions. Some jurisdictions report deaths on a daily basis, while others report deaths weekly or monthly. In addition, vital record reporting may also be affected or delayed by COVID-19 related response activities.
"

If we want to go back and visit their numbers for today in 8 weeks, when they finalize it, we can see where they are for now, then.

If not, then somebody's cherry-picking data the CDC has already clearly declared to be "provisional", and obviously incomplete, as though it was carved in stone.

That's a half-lie.

Aesop, you were talking up the 60,000 deaths a week ago. Now that the numbers have been provisionally revised downwards, you don't like them any more. Interesting.
