Two men were arrested Tuesday night after a shooting near Rayners Lane station in London which saw two injured, with Britains’ capital city seeing a total of four shooting incidents in just two days. The police also busted an illegal gun factory (!).
But I'm certain that gun control will be more efficiently implemented over on these shores ...

Worked alongside a London "armed response" officer for a week once. He said that the real choke point for illegal gun use was the ammunition. It is apparently very difficult to purchase hand gun ammo or any reloading equipment in the UK. What criminals ended up using was what he called "crap rounds", assorted modified low power starting pistol ammo and such. Maybe that was the case in these instances as it sounds as if none of the injured people were more than inconvenienced by being shot in this "gangland" style.

Tim, I knew people in the UK who would take their cars across the Channel on a ferry boat to shop at the liquor stores on the continent. They'd fill the car up, and the amount they saved would pay for the trip and a nice bistro lunch in Calais. Bet you can buy ammo there.
and don't forget black powder...
