The Trump Insurgency

Interesting:
What's most surprising to many pundits and analysts is that Trump has done this without presenting all of the detail plans, voluminous position papers, etc. that we've come to expect over the last couple of decades.

He has simply refused to play by those rules, and he's not paid a price for it.

Trump is able to pull this off because he's not running a political campaign.  Instead, he's running an insurgency

Not only that, it's a very specific type of insurgency.    ...

This means he is playing by very different rules than his competitors.  Let me walk you through an example of what I mean by that.
RTWT, which is pretty darn interesting.

As far as I can tell, Trump has posted an immigration plan, a healthcare plan, a 2nd Amendment policy, and has named his foreign policy team. Have any of the REST of the crowd done so???

Exactly. And Trump has not hidden his college records, birth certificate, and his financial statement.

Not only is he "self funded". he is waaaaay under budget.

The media continues to give him all the air time he needs. ( and then continue to be puzzled by his popularity .....that they are driving) He doesn't bother everyone with the same ridiculous political ads that all his opponents ran.

How'd all those ads work for those guys anyway/ The more they spent, the worse their poll numbers became.

The point behind NOT publicizing policy minutiae is flexibility: as things change, the minutiae must change. For instance, who - today - is building a better landline phone or a better carburetor for a mass-market automobile - and why?
