I keep one book only to be read on my phone. It may take months to read, since I generally plan on reading something else, but I'm not stuck with five year old copies of Redbook magazine. In the old days I kept a "car book" in the back seat to read while waiting for kids. It generally was finished much more quickly since I used to do a lot more waiting. Same principle.

Not fun - it's like a plane ride with only SkyMall to read.
