UPDATE 29 MAY 2023 13:23: Dwight takes a day off from his regular fare of obits and which sports coach got fired, to remind us of combat casualties as well. Remember their stories.

Too many gone on 'training' and 'operational' flights. Not combat, but still gone while on duty. May they rest in peace.
And then there are the walking dead. Those who mentally or physically are on borrowed time or no longer 'there' if you know what I mean.
Like the deaths from 9-11. Numbers keep rising every day, as survivors and workers die from issues physical and mental from that hell.
I know a guy who survived the Marine Barracks in Beirut. He's definitely not 100% there, and I don't think he'll be whole until he joins his mates.
I mourn those we lost, and I mourn those who are lost.
