Note: Incitatus was supposedly the Emperor Caligula's favorite race horse, and he supposedly appointed him to the Senate.

Libertyman, I think that's actually the Latin for "LOL".
Aesop, his position seemed to be that the Senate was a body filled with fussy old men and hot air. One can see his point.

Caligula appointed his entire horse as a Senator.
Most American states economize over Caligula's example, sending only the rear end of the horse to serve.
