Well, now you've gone and done it--you'll soon be spending more time on the road than doing anything else. You might even find yourself becoming a BIKER!
Absolutely awesome. Congratulations, and keep the rubber on the road!
Libertyman, I think that the adult beverages helped the guy I bought it from make me a deal I couldn't refuse. It was a crazy good price, one I just couldn't pass up.
Tony, we need to go ride, once my shoulder is up to it.
Wraith, I made that mistake once. Hopefully never again!
So VERY VERY HAPPY that you're healing!!! And even happier that you're going to get back in the saddle!!
This is a great purchase. Heck, at that price, I'd have jumped at it too. The sharknose is more stable "at speed" than the batwing, especially when there are any crosswinds.
What year? If it's pre-2009, consider getting a frame stablizer (bolt-on - you can do it yourself).
So glad to see you're getting ready to get back on the road! But please, be wise about it: make sure you're fully healed first.

Ah, now I understand.
10K for the bike, $38.39 for the resistance lowering components that led to the purchase.
Got it.
Have fun with the new bike!
+1
Enjoy the Glide. BTW: Daytona Bike Week starts today...

ProudHillbilly, it's a crazy good looking bike.
DAMN.. Good for you!!
Yer gonna shoot yer eye out, kid.
I guess we'll just have to start calling you Captain America. Wanna go on a road trip to New Orleans?
Enjoy that bike.
Purty! And an even better reason to get better soon! :-)
Buying a bike in a bar? Yeah, that's the usual venue!
Be safe and enjoy!

Beautiful! Well done, sir.
Murphy, I need to get back in the saddle slowly. Doubt I'll be up to a long rind for months and months.
But yeah. ;-)
Guffaw, I bought it from a friend. We were in a bar at the time. Hard to believe, I knnow. ;-)
Congrats!
I put 60K miles on an '81 Wing with a frame mounted fairing and never looked back when I went to an Ultra with a batwing (bar mounted) fairing.
Now it seems everywhere I look folks are buying Road Glides. I may have to try one to see what I'm missing.

You're my hero.
Nice, real nice.
Enjoy the miles.
Here in the U.P. it will be about another month before the biking season starts. So I am a little jealous.
It's beautiful. Get back up on that horse that bucked you off.
Congrats, Boreptch! We'll hear 'ya now! :o)
Nice color! Now you're no longer metric and deal in inches, pounds, and pints!
So you finally got the Harley you really wanted. Good.
Better, you're getting back on the (iron) horse.

Hmmm. How far away are you, again?
