Honor. Courage. Commitment.Country.
What burt said.
God Bless these fine young men and women!
Some years ago when offered to stand down during a hurricane, the entire corps refused the offer and stood their post.
Honor. Courage. Commitment. BRRRR!
Goober, I had to stand bridge watch in the middle of a storm during a mid-January Atlantic crossing. Not only was it cold, but ice began forming on my watch cap and jacket every time I had to go out to the wing.I'm not comparing the two, just saying that there are times you do what needs to be done BECAUSE you know that it needs to be done. And you do it the best way you can, the way it should be done. That having been said, I stand in awe of this soldier's dedication to the brave souls who his service honors. Somewhere, where it counts, those brave souls are also standing and smiling at this young man's demonstration of respect.Honor. Courage. Commitment.Country.
