I seem to have under-estimated the global appeal of the Tea Party

Huh.  Seems that the Tea Party's appeal extends to Chechen jihadis.  I hadn't realized that the Tea Party conspiracy was so, well, global.

UPDATE 19 April 2013 12:53: This is me, rolling my eyes:
According to NPR Counterterrorism Correspondent Dina Temple Raston, who spoke with officials about the Boston attacks, “April is a big month for antigovernment and right-wing individuals.”  What makes this such a good month for attacking innocent Americans?  Apparently, April 20th is the anniversary of the Columbine shootings and it is Hitler’s birthday.
Click through for the recording so you can listen to the stupidity in its full glory.

Just remember, these people are entirely convinced that they're ever so much more clever than drooling morons like your and me.

"Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Or, if that one is too hard to understand, maybe something a little closer to their intellectual level, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

To be pedantic....
"Just remember, these people are entirely convinced that they're ever so much more clever than drooling morons like your and me."

I'm assuming a deliberate "your" in there.

In the immortal words of Pvt Hudson:

Hudson: [reading a motion detector] I got signals. I got readings, in front and behind.
Frost: Where, man? I don't see shit.
Hicks: He's right. There's nothin' back here.
Hudson: Look, I'm telling ya, there's somethin' movin' and it ain't us! Tracker's off scale, man. They're all around us, man. Jesus!

Oops, typo. Obviously that's why I'm not an award winning journalist.

Well, I'm not a lockstep lefty, and I'll admit having thought that this one had a good chace of being domestic.

That said, any 'expert' who seriously thinks that blowing stuff up is a Tea Party thing really needs to step out of his/her/its tribal echo chamber.

There is nothing new about this. Remember how absolutely dispondent Contessa Brewer was when the Times Square bomber turned out to be a jihadi and not a white guy? Or the gnashing of teeth when the Ft. Hood guy ended up being a jihadi and not a white guy? Or when they tried to tie the pot smoking leftist nut that shot Gabrielle Giffords to the Tea Party? There is no shortness of blood dancing pieces of garbage that are willing to use any tragedy for their own political gain, and the disappointment that they feel when these tragedies occur and are not the result of mean white guys are hardly consolation to those of us that need to listen to these slavering dolts every time someone does something horrible to innocent people.

I wonder if these are the same experts who assured us that the DC Sniper was a disgruntled, white, probably ex military, loner who hated black people?

Wrong then, wrong now.

They so want it to be white people who are Christian and not anyone who is remotely linked to Islam that they just can't see the reality.
