At the risk of deflowering your comments, I simply can't see a carrier landing without thinking of that joke, "The three greatest things in life are a landing, an orgasm and a good bowel movement; a night carrier landing is one of the few things in life that gives you the chance to experience all three at once".

Naval carrier flight operations are truly impressive.
