I carry a .45, (Officers fram, commanders slide) but my favorite shooter is a 9mm Browning HP. AKA P-35. it just fits my hand properly. Butt is too big for concealed carry but oh lordy do it shoot good.
Since it's ostensibly for a Lady and simply an excuse to buy a 9mm, and a Gentleman can't possibly know what goes on inside their heads, perhaps SHE should choose? I suggested trying 38.Spl in the model 28 since it would easily accommodate them and they hurt less to shoot than .357mag.

I've owned a Smith 39-2, 59, Glocks 17 and 26, Beretta 92, Sig Sauer P239, a Keltec and a Belgian BHP.
I'm old fashioned - the BHP.
