Very interesting and what a find!
I would have never even suspected it was still around.
It's gorgeous inside. The gentleman takes excellent care of it.

I see where Dawn Wells went for a ride on it many years after the show -- still as cute as ever.

I never understood why they had so much luggage with them for a 3 hour tour, but okay.

The old wooden boats... 'Nothing like 'em! Owens, Matthews, Egg harbor, Chris-Craft... I was dinky 1959 17ft Thompson runabout growing up among all these beautiful giants. I actually KNEW a guy who owned an old Wheeler; WAY older than the Minnow. They weren't very common. I also occasionally saw Guy Lombardo screaming across the bay on Long Island in his "Tempo II..." I believe it was a Chris-Craft... All varnished, stem to stern... Boats were ART back then... Kids these days... They have no idea...

Epically cool!
I don't know much about boats, but I recognize craftsmanship and well-cared-for machines when I see 'em.

In a slightly related story I found Roy Rogers Trigger along with Bullet the Dog in the lobby of the John Wayne Museum in the Fort Worth Stockyards which was where it landed after 2 museums closed and then RFD TV had them for a while.

Wheeler also built Ernest Hemingway’s 38-foot fishing boat “Pilar” in the 1930’s. True craftsmanship.
