A brand new Mustang --- a 1965 !! We went to the World's Fair in New York in 1964 when it was introduced. I think it started at a list price of $2195 if I remember correctly. The convertible must have been more.
We were picking up a brand new Citroen station wagon from the Manhattan Citroēn headquarters.
We flew down, by the way, in a Super Constellation that was the shuttle from Boston to New York city back then and drove home in the Citroēn wagon.
