Once Trump became POTUS his need to carry disappeared as he has and will always have Secret Service protection.
As if that Secret Service is any "protection" for those who are not Commie swill...
It has been a common action for most all the presidents to carry a handgun for personal backup purposes. The last one "documented" was Reagan.
