It's been oddly quiet after the election - no cities burning, that sort of thing. And this is interesting:
Only anecdotal but my girlfriend says her lefty keyboard warrior friends have been oddly silent on Facebook since Tuesday. This is the way.
Very oddly quiet for a bunch of folks who wouldn't shut up about how Trump was a fascist and democracy would be dead if he won. Very oddly quiet.

Stunned silence...

I am wary of the silence. I guess these times have made that sort of response doubly appropo.
It is like the water receding before the tsunami.
They didn't think Trump was going to win. They had no plan for his win so they are lost. Utterly without a clue as to how to proceed. This is of course a temporary condition. The communist left will quickly recover and launch another endless campaign to undercut and thwart Trump at every turn. This isn't over. In fact the truly hard part for America is just beginning.
I understand many of them are looking to emigrate. Trudeau is just their kind of "leader".
Yep. Lots on our side have "Victory Disease" as the Japanese would say. This is the End of the Beginning.
I've talked to people who know some liberals well. Those liberals are currently catatonic, often curled in bed for most of the day.
I'm curious how long they'll be like that. I've heard rumors that a couple of riots got squashed hard but don't know any details.
The issue there is that Canada has standards and most of them can't meet Canadas standards.
