Hallucinations come to Mass.gov

Okay, okay - Mass.gov has been hallucinating for years and years.  But now they're automating things:

Today, Governor Maura Healey announced the launch of the ChatGPT-powered Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistant for the state’s workforce, with the goal of making government work better and faster for people.

"Open the pod bay doors, HAL."

From the linked article;
'... for the people ...'
'... for the people we serve ...'

Who exactly would that be? Sleight of hand wordsmithing is a hallmark of sleazy socialists. You're thinking one thing, say the citizens of MA, but that is not what they mean. The slimey weasels rely on this obfuscation. Plausible deniability is attached as addendum. If called out, the response will be to ignore. Then, if pressed, they will say they - always the anonymous they - misspoke.

Notice that they don't say citizens. They don't even say residents, a term that they use to include illegal aliens. Indeed, it is a term they use so very often. But not here.

Why shouldn't this be seen as them serving themselves?

You cannot be too hard on government leeches.

Now with new and improved efficiency, should you expect govt budget to decrease, or taxes to decrease?
I'm joking
