Stephen emails a dad joke appropriate for the Florida summer weather:
I saw where the meteorologist who invented the ‘feels like’ temperature had passed away. He was 80… but felt like 94.
Actually, 80/94 would be a big improvement on the current 96/119 (!). Florida, amirite?
Update:
Here's what it "feels like" to walk out into the southern sun at midday.

That's cute. Here, night time temps dipped to 101°American. 104 @ 0800.
'Just another summer day here in the desert...
Someone else said that walking outside during recent days in Florida was like "walking into a hot, wet sponge". When the pool temp at the amenity center is 103 (no kidding), the pool doesn't provide much relief. And when the water coming out of the sink's cold tap is as hot as the water coming out of the hot tap...
Welcome to Florida! (Yulee, just north of Jax)
103 here feels like 115...
It still sure beats -40 in February!
You want to die fast in fire, breath in deep. Painful, but quicker than screaming....
Welcome to Crematoria!
That was some Yankee. We're used to that Mississippi heat and humidity.
