The DOGE website is now posting the money saved by their efforts

It still looks like a work in progress, but this likely will be pretty interesting.

They can save $100,000,000 which is only one tenth of one percent of a trillion dollars. It won’t make much of a dent in the current deficit.
They’re only hurting the working class with this window dressing. And for what? To give billionaires even more money to acquire “things”?

What?

Seriously:
What?

So by cutting unnecessary spending and corruption DOGE is hurting the "working class"? How is that supposed to work?

And how does this benefit "billionaires"?

I’ll type slowly so you can understand. Cutting spending by firing workers (the working class) will account for fractions of percentage points in reducing the deficit. The hack and chop method being used is crippling some of the very agencies that are necessary for the nation’s economy, safety, and security.

In addition, the New York Times today has published an independent review of the claims made by DOGE. It shows that instead of the BILLIONS of savings in program and contract cuts, it’s more like Millions. For instance, In one claim by DOGE they claim a contract cancellation that was worth 8 billion. But the Times review shows the contract was for 8 million, of which 2.5 million had already been paid out, which results in a savings of only 5.5 million. Quite a far cry from what is claimed.

As far as corruption, how does one measure corruption? Is it corruption when one party does it, but okay if the other party partakes? Claims of stopping corruption should lead to prosecution.

The list of government workers and agencies necessary for the country's economy, safety, and security, outside the DoD, could be written inside a thimble with a fat Sharpie.

Stop drinking dotGov's bong water, man.

They've already collapsed our currency.

There is no historical evidence to support Fiat Currency. At one point, I laid dollar bills of the national debt end to end and it was from here to Uranus. I stopped counting after that. And they just kept on printing.

Those pterodactyls have yet to come home to roost.
