Ice packs 20 minutes on, 1 hour off for three days, and you get to examine the wound after 48 hours, when you change the initial bandage. Fortunately, it looks much worse than when they finally remove the stitches.
Hope it's an easy procedure. Mine was found in my 20's and they took out a large divit with a knife. Upper left breast which left a noticeable bite-shaped scar. When people stare, I just say: "Short Ninja with overbite".

Good luck, BP!
Good luck and may it be quick, easy, and lead to a full and complete recovery.
May the procedure be quick and easy, may the Lord guide the surgeon's hands, and may the healing be equally fast.
Thanks, everyone. Procedure was successful. I'll post an AAR
