In other News

October 5, 1969 saw the first broadcast of Monty Python's Flying Circus, on the BBC.

Albatross!

And the first Linux Kernel (v0.02) was released in 1991. Not an Albatross! I remember getting my first Slackware distro on 20 pounds of floppy disks, back in 1994 (we only had a 32 kbps Frame Relay link, shared between a bunch of engineers). The things we crazy kids used to do!
