Expect hardware. And expect a rock solid clavicle that looks a bit gnarly. When you have a jig saw puzzle fracture there is not that great a chance of "natural" healing.
Should be an easy surgery though, right under the surface. You will have few opportunities to interact with the nurses. And the ones you do get you won't remember. Versed....ask for it by name!

Damn. Good luck!
Ugh...
Oh boy, that sucks. Good luck blog brother!
Good luck!
Maybe something other than collar bone. Good Luck!
Sorry, bro - good luck.
I ripped my shoulder joint apart back in 90. I remember the doctor coming out and saying he had good news and bad news.
The good news was that I had not broken my collar bone. The bad news was that I would wish I had.
Are they going to put a plate in?
R. K. Brumbelow, he really won't know if he will need to put in a plate until he opens things up.
BP you should ask if you will look like Lee Majors/ Steve Austin and if it will get you a date with 1976's Lindsey Wagner if they do.
- Just saying... it can't hurt right?
Thoughts and prayers... Good luck and hope the recovery is short!
Look on the bright side...Nurses...who give sponge baths...and some of them don't even look like Rosie O'Donnell.
Heal fast.
LOL @ Murphy
Prayers in the air @ Borepatch

Tacitus
You got 3 weeks to heal before Bike Week in Daytona.
Just sayin...
Best wishes and speedy recovery. Don't let them get your passwords out of you while they have you under!
Best wishes to you, young feller.
It's your advanced age. I am just glad I am not as old as you.
