Surgery went well, the doc said, but he had to remove part of the miniscus as it was not fixable and pop the kneecap back in. I've got all kinds of pain meds, but I also have a bottle of The Balvenie Doublewood (matured in two distinct casks, whisky oak and sherry oak) Single Malt Scotch that showed up express mail yesterday from squirrel central in DC. What to do. What to do??
I'll be off field duty for 8 weeks, can probably man a desk in another 7-10 days they said (desk duty, just shoot me). So give me a call.
