The Queen Of The World speaks

TQOTW posted this to the Book of Feces.  Just like the Pope sometimes speaks ex cathedra, TQOTW is speaking from her throne.  So pay attention.

The Democrats were so proud of themselves as Biden signed bills to reverse all the good Trump did for this country, most notably the Alaskan pipeline. They didn’t care about the consequences then or now for this country - they just wanted to make sure they put Trump in his place. So how’s that working out for all of us now? They didn’t care about the ramifications, or how it would impact us. Had they not done that, we’d be self sufficient and prices for gas that will soon hit $5 or more per gallon would not be happening. So for those of you who are actually living and did vote for Biden, hope you’re happy! You’re as big a part of his treasonous acts as he is! Everyone knew he has dementia yet no one wants to admit it - except his son who made fun of it even before he ran for POTUS!

Gas jumped 20 cents a gallon overnight.  Even here in Florida it'll be over $4 a gallon Real Soon Now.  But hey - no mean tweets, amirite?

  1. Gas jumped 30 cents/gal overnight here in Austin. Passed a station last night and noticed the $3.499/gal price- thought to stop but didn't. It was $3.799/gal this morning. Waiting overnight cost me $9 extra.

  2. Borepatch - In general, most I know that voted for the Blue Party have gone rather silent about a great many things.

  3. And we are only one year into this clueless administration. I normally smile at the preppers and the perpetual doomsayers, but this time I think that things have the potential to get very bad for a long time.

  4. I want an apology. Don't think I'll get one.

  5. If we'd just all buy electric vehicles, this wouldn't matter and we'd save the world.

    Or something like that.

You all be safe and God bless.

  6. I'm glad I filled up Saturday. Gone up $0.30 per gallon since then. Will not be surprised if it goes up again tonight or tomorrow since Russia has apparently cut us off from the $70 million per day of oil & oil based products that we were buying from them.

    1. $4 to $4.06 Sunday. $4.09 to $4.15 today. Used to fill my tank and get change for $40. Paid $20 for less than 5 gal today.

  7. At the stations near my house here in North Central Florida:
    Last Monday, gas was $3.679
    On Friday, gas was $3.999
    Today, gas is $4.199

    I predict $5 a gallon by April 1.

  8. As much as those "I ded that!" stickers are nice, they really should say "Democrats proudly did this!"

  10. She's right, of course.

Gas hit 4 bucks today in N Cent Texas.

What happens when it's at 10? I can guess but won't preach.

  11. Can you say $7.00/gal? I knew you could... dammit

  12. In the northeast a lot of homes heat with oil, mine being one of them. The price of yesterday's fill up was $4.59 a gallon, or just under a thousand bucks. Diesel fuel (essentially the same item is $4.99 down the street.

We can blame the Democrats, there's no doubt, but where are the Republicans to support lower energy prices? Do they think the high fuel prices won't be passed on to every single level of transport and manufacturing and farming?

Retirees on a fixed income get the shaft, as do the blue collar workers just getting by. Do you think the plumber will keep his rates the same when he has to pay more for everything?

    1. Well, they think there are unicorns farming fairy dust so yes, I think they will be shocked when the cost of everything shoots up across the board.

  13. Libertyman, I'm in the same neck of the woods. $458 for a hundred gallons for my apartment.

I'd normally say that it's a good thing that spring is right around the corner, but with the way things are going...

  14. Shenandoah Valley I-81 corridor in Virginia - regular is $4.44.9. Diesel is as high as $5.19.9, and as low as $4.99.9.

  15. "They didn’t care about the ramifications, or how it would impact us."

Well, they actually *wanted* the ramifications.

Around here, once gas prices started their climb, a Democrat told me "all you Republicans can say is 'high gas prices'!" I wonder how she feels now, with gas prices a buck and a half higher--and that's for regular.

Around here I watched local stations go up a dollar in ten days, 20 and 30 cents at a time.
