Remember this from 7 years ago? Ukranian priests are badass.
It looks like they're now matched in badassitude by Canadian priests who need a SWAT team to take them down for holding church services:
This post tagged "fascists" because, well, you know, eh?But He knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
My feet have closely followed his steps;
I have kept to his way without turning aside.- Job 23:10-11
"First they came …" is the poetic form of a 1946 post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984). It is about the cowardice of German intellectuals and certain clergy—including, by his own admission, Niemöller himself—following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets, group after group. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. It deals with themes of persecution, guilt, repentance, and personal responsibility.
ReplyDeleteDing Ding Ding, ROUND 2
First they came for the OUTSPOKEN and I did not speak out-
Because I was not outspoken against the COVID Marxists
Kyle Rittenhouse knows this situation for a very obvious case of self defense BUT I've heard folks saying he shouldn't have been there, blah, blah, blah. That young man will be punished as an Object Lesson to us Uppity Folks.
Back the Blue? REALLY? Are they Backing We the People? Ask the folks in TX having streets blocked by armed Antifa-Burn, Loot, Murder GUARDED by Police.
Aleksander Solzhenitsyn said “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
Are we much different than the Germans during the start of the Nazi regime or the Russians during the Stain Reign of Terror?
I fear we are going to find out Michael...
ReplyDeleteBeen looking for that particular bad a$$ priest pic for a bit. Specific names were used at Mass today. I'm in WV wonder if the battle is finally being joined...
ReplyDeleteThink they'll be as focused on mosques as they are on churches? Me neither.
ReplyDeleteMeh.
ReplyDeleteIt's Canada.
The Crown has a long and distinguished pedigree in religious persecution. Foxe's Book Of Martyrs was documentary, not fiction.
Do that here, and cops are likely to end up a few hundred grains of lead heavier midway through the exercise, on general principles, and ZFG.
What's more, they'll have it coming.
As the nonsense in Portland and Plano foretells, the police in this country are going to get about one brief chance to realize who their actual allies are, and it may not be the people signing their paychecks.
If they get that wrong, well, we can always hire more cops, later, after the smoke clears. If they want play the part of the KGB, we can arrange for them to see how it feels to be the BATFE raid to the country's Branch Davidians, every single waking moment.
I'm spitballing, but I'm pretty confident they'll tire of that game before the general population runs out of ammo.
Our Gov. Little Andy ordered the State Police to check on churches holding services and to write down tag numbers for follow up. I think one church actually had a trooper show up but nothing came of it, That barracks was told to knock it off by other troopers. It not a good idea to push people in rural Kentucky.

HAR HAR HAR! Good grief, Aesop - you live in California. Everyone there is either a commie or a faggot and I still haven’t figured out which one you are... but you have no business looking down your nose at anyone.😂👍
ReplyDeleteThis priest is a great guy. He has openly and publicly flipped the bird to the covidians (like Aesop) and has incurred their wrath by making laughingstocks of them. It had to happen. I no longer support our law enforcement or have any sympathy for them. It used to be that if they banged on my door at 3:00 am, I’d open up, invite them in, get the coffe going and ask how I could help. But now... this?
F*** them.
Pardon my fwench.
Errrrr... f*** them too!
Glen, I don't look down my nose at Canada.
ReplyDeleteYou do it to yourselves.
Y'all bought into "Good Save The King" when it mattered, so I figure whatever his spawn shits all over you, you've earned it, and chosen it freely. Subjects, versus citizens.
Best wishes with that.
And I see you're exactly as well-informed about California as you are about everything else.
Maybe not getting all your news from the BBC would be a good way to break suction, but that's up to you as well.
Stay classy, and thanks for continuing to live up to all my expectations.
The Ukrainian priest is Russian Orthodox.
ReplyDeleteThe Ukrainian government is trying to neuter them by creating a "Ukrainian Orthodox" church, and giving them title to all the Russian Orthodox churches.
No one is attending the new government approved services.
