My Son-In-Law, a Chief on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, is in quarantine. One of the men on his crew tested positive for the Kung Flu, and so now he's in (sort of) isolation. He feels fine, but I guess we'll know more in 7-14 days. I hope it turns out like this:
Wonder what's happening in the People's Liberation Army Navy?
Prayers. There's a civ contractor in isolation at Ft. Gordon, where my eldest's based...
ReplyDeleteI hope the Chief gets through it OK, BP.
ReplyDeletePrayers sent..
Have you noticed, since the breakout of Novel Wuhan ChiCom Corona Covid-19 Flu, we haven't heard about the PLA or the PLAN doing frisky stuff?
ReplyDeleteThat right there, at a time when, if they weren't being affected, they'd be getting frisky all over the place, is an indication of how bad it has affected the normal day-to-day activity of said PLA, PLAN and the PLAAF.
We can make the assumption based on pre-flu activity.
Funny, a couple times before, when the PLA(whatever) has gotten frisky and then suddenly decidedly went un-frisky, it was due to a plague/flu/disease outbreak (usually from western Communist China) that laid waste to ChiCom but had not so much effect to the rest of the world.
Now that would be something to look into. Is massing of PLA(whatever) forces from all over Communist China a potential cause of the spread of whatever virus?
Hmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmm.
Hmmmmm
DeleteNow I wonder if he is being counted in the Kitsap County statistics....
ReplyDeleteself isolated a few miles from your son-in-law

Prayers for the chief
