Nerd memes


This cracks me up, since it's Meme to the power of Nerd squared.

It reminds me of the difference between the temperature scales (Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin), explained from a practical perspective:

Fahrenheit:
0° - You're cold.
100° - You're hot.
Celsius:
0° - You're cold.
100° - You're dead.
Kelvin:
0° - You're dead.
100° - You're dead.

    Hey Mr. Filthie - Borepatch probably left Pluto off the list because we simply couldn't pack enough food into any of our spacecraft to last for the 20+ year journey. So...time that one would would survive on Pluto: zero, because the astronauts would already be dead from starvation.
