Australia passes a law requiring encryption back doors

Maybe, anyway.  Encryption backdoors are still a really bad idea.

    I find myself wondering how they are going to enforce it on companies with no physical presence in Australia - since Australia isn't really noted for its computer industry, the companies of concern aren't based there and if this law is pushed hard, the solution for companies could be to leave...
