That's the point of beta testing. If they reapply the key learnings, the next version will be better.ASM826https://www.blogger.com/profile/04017388670319590449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6322916946732811685.post-63437987704128808072018-03-27T16:12:13.482-04:002018-03-27T16:12:13.482-04:00The Uber video is clearly underexposed. As the article points out, the headlights are supposed to illuminate the area better than what we see. So if something isn't visible in the video and the headlights are working properly, the conclusion has to be that the video is underexposed. Whether that's deliberately done to make Uber look better is a possible explanation that should be investigated.SiGraybeardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00280583031339062059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6322916946732811685.post-82387678955266291512018-03-27T15:55:55.737-04:002018-03-27T15:55:55.737-04:00ASM826, maybe in a production car. There's no way that the driver should be considered a passenger at this stage.Borepatchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05029434172945099693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6322916946732811685.post-16154473626847720802018-03-27T15:36:12.204-04:002018-03-27T15:36:12.204-04:00The combination of software and hardware that was ...The combination of software and hardware that was driving the car may indeed be inadequate to the task but it does not follow that the passenger is a problem. If it's self-driving, it's self driving. There is no human driver. The passenger sitting in the car had been given every reason to not be paying attention in the same way as if he was a passenger on a bus.ASM826https://www.blogger.com/profile/04017388670319590449noreply@blogger.com
