It was my great-grandfather's Win. Model 12 pump in 20 ga. with two different interchangeable fixed choke barrels. One was a skeet choke barrel and the other was a field grade full choke barrel. Pretty damned good for a 10 year old's first gun.Hat Trickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08789313677285831256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6322916946732811685.post-57959613783912778742010-12-06T19:50:33.323-05:002010-12-06T19:50:33.323-05:00The very first gun I got was a Buck Mark. 22 cal....The very first gun I got was a Buck Mark. 22 cal. You need to know how to stand, how to point the weapon, cripes even how to hold the weapon.

Yep, that ole pea shooter helped me to build the basic skills before I jumped to my Colt 45 1911.

SteveAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6322916946732811685.post-73934034371126129032010-12-06T15:21:18.505-05:002010-12-06T15:21:18.505-05:00A CMP Garand - and now that you can, you should to...A CMP Garand - and now that you can, you should too. :-)NotClauswitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14358707844087117280noreply@blogger.com
