They could have the channel clear in 3 days and open within a week. Bets on it taking months? During WWII the Army had specialized units to get ports in France up and running. They had an amazing track record in much worse circumstances.
@Highlander Caesar built a bridge across the Rhine in 10 days. He used his troop so there is a good precedent for the Corps of Engineers to get the job done.
Color me skeptic, but I think contractors to the Corpse of Engineers will be doing the grunt work with 1100 government employees getting a boat load of overtime watching the work get done.
This will be enlightening. We will get to see what they are Made Of now that wokism has become the religion of all things government. I'm not getting my hopes for a quick solution to the problem being in our future. Especially since They, (Whoever They are) are obviously working to destroy America.
A measure how important Baltimore harbor is?
ReplyDeletePretty critical but politics seems to be the driving force in DC.
Or a vote for me ploy?
Time will tell.

Caeser used his troops, common Roman Army tool sets AND local trees in abundance.
ReplyDeleteHe didn't need approval from DEI folks or the EPA.
He didn't need shipments of machined steel (from where pray tell?) and many thousands of tons of high grade concrete, and such.
As Cold Fury's post today, we cannot rebuild it today.
Collapse of a dying Empire stuff, come back daily for new displays.

ReplyDeleteBeen there have the t-shirt.
And it'll take 10 years to replace it, and another five to come up with a new name for it...
ReplyDeleteNow they are saying the boat is sitting on a high pressure natural gas pipe.
ReplyDeleteTo Old NFO...I bet they already have a long list of potential names for the replacement bridge and KEY isn't one of them.
ReplyDeleteBear in mind that this is the Woketarded Army Corps of Engineers.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be getting my hopes up.
