I don't trust RFK, Jr., but ...

... he sure make a lot of sense here:

Let’s be honest: it’s a US war against Russia... to essentially sacrifice the flower of Ukrainian youth in an abattoir of death and destruction for the geopolitical ambition of the neocons, oft-stated, of regime change for Vladimir Putin and exhausting the Russian military so that they can’t fight anywhere else in the world. President Biden has said that was his intention — to get rid of Vladimir Putin. His Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, in April 2022, said that our purpose here is to exhaust the Russian army. What does that mean, 'exhaust'? It means throwing Ukrainians at them. My son fought over there, side-by-side with the Ukrainians and we’ve sacrificed 300,000 Ukrainians.

It's a long interview but I find very little to argue with him about.  Which means that the Deep State will prevent him from ever becoming President.

  1. You know....the Ukrainians don't have to fight. They could surrender. They're not. So it's a little more complicated than "this is a US war".

  2. You really believe Zelinski is in control? NATO kept irritating Russia. The two weeks Putin had his forces sitting at the border, do you think he wasn't trying to get NATO to agree to stop trying to get Ukraine to join? The military industrial complex and the global elite are running things. Putin is the good guy here. That sounds ridiculous, I know. Yeah, when a KGB guy who most likely has done more than Tell others to Hurt people is the good guy, it says a lot about what is going on in the world. You just can't Have a one world government while an independent country like Russia exists. Gotta bleed them..

  3. Since we apparently have enough control to force Russia to attack Ukraine, why didn't we have them attack China, that would have been more amusing. It is nice to be in the only part of the world that makes any independent decisions as obviously everyone else in the world only reacts to what we do and has no agency of their own...

  4. I put $50 on RFK Jr to win the Democratic nomination at +$1,250. The same people who were calling Trump a nutjob in 2016 are calling JFK Jr. a nutjob today. Just saying.

  5. danielbarger, read what RFK, Jr. wrote. He was quite clear that all our military aid has done is gotten more Ukranians killed.

  6. Yes...the US is meddling, NATO is involved and we aren't helping but that doesn't change the fundamental fact that the Ukrainians are and have been actively resisting since day one. They COULD have accepted the Russian annexation but didn't. The US and NATO is taking advantage of this reality. If the Ukrainians decided tomorrow to quit this would all end....almost overnight. It's a complicated situation...as long a Ukraine keeps fighting. They stop and things get massively simpler.

  7. The only reason he sounds so "sensible" is because he is being allowed to say that stuff. The elites need you to gravitate towards this guy and away from whomever the repub candidate will be.

  8. He also seems to have repudiated his earlier claims about global warming and now says the motherWEFers are using the issue to consolidate power.

However, he has not , to the best of my knowledge, changed on gun control which is a disqualifying position for me.

  9. We baited Vlad to invade the Ukraine twice so we could have him expelled from office. Brillant!

They must teach that logic at Ivy League schools. Just what this country needs is more of that intellectual thinking in government.

    Jesus weeps!

  10. Your last line makes you sound as cynical as I feel.

  11. The last time Ukraine "allowed" Russia to annex it they got a Holodomor for their trouble. Zelensky and Putin are both turds and I don't think this is worth a drop of American blood, but I understand the Ukrainian people's willingness to fight it out.

  12. RFK is a sideshow.
He may even win the nomination over Emperor Potatohead.

But at that point, the odds he joins daddy and Uncle Jack go to over 2000:1 in favor.

Bear in mind that the Secret Service has about a 75% success rate, historically, and it's gotten worse over time.

If you want to get rich quick, the best idea currently is to take out a life insurance policy on RFKJr and name yourself the beneficiary. Make sure the payout is enough to cover you lawyer bills afterwards.
