From Filthie's Thunderbox comes great wisdom today."Don’t trust the guys at the gun shop when making important financial decisions."
That being said, the new Springfield version of the classic Browning HiPower sings a little song.
Here's old and new side by side.
Can they make one that takes Glock mags?
ReplyDeleteDo they still have the magazine issues if you load them to 13 rounds?
ReplyDeleteI've heard it is different enough it takes different mags and the internals are not compatible, so it's really a different gun with the same name. Is that accurate?
ReplyDeleteI'm happy with my original BHP. :-)
ReplyDeleteJonathan H, my understanding is that the Springfield Armory version is fully compatible with the original. Oddly, it’s the new FN version that isn’t.
ReplyDeleteIv’e been looking for the new springfield sa-35 for months. The only one Iv’e actually seen was in florida and since I’m a michigan resident couldn’t buy it. Gun broker usually has some that are selling for 400 or so above msrp.
ReplyDeleteTsgt Joe:
ReplyDeleteYes, you can. Have it sent to a local (in your state) FFL that can handle the transfer. The receiving dealer may require it to ship FROM an FFL, but I don't think that is a federal requirement.
Currently made from UnObtainium. Just try getting your hands on one.....
