Of course, neither did I. There were some still around in the 1960s when I would have had a go at them, but this was really Mom and Dad's time - the 1930s was the high water mark of dangerous (and fun!) playgound equipment. 9 others are listed here, so go read.

The stuf I played on in the nearby playground would be considered child abuse today. I broke my arm TWICE on the merry go around. It was a mark of honor.
