So what's driving all the insanity behind the Virus From Hell*?
I mean, "Two Weeks to Flatten The Curve and Save Our Health Care System" has turned into doctors and nurses being fired because they haven't been vaccinated. This, when Covid deaths are down something like 75% from a year ago when NO health care workers were vaccinated (because there was no vaccine).
So what gives? How can The Powers That Be be so, well, incompetent?
They're not. None of this is by accident. Let me expand on a comment I left over at OldNFO's place:
Doctors and nurses are being fired, leading to an unknown (more accurately: unreported) staffing shortage. The New York National Guard is being called out to fill in. Interestingly, you have two chances if a NatGuard doc kills your loved one: slim, and none. You can't sue the NatGuard. You might have a better lawsuit against a hospital who just fired 30% of their workers right before your Loved One died of neglect. Call Morgan and Morgan**, who no doubt will be happy to take your case.
So you sue the hospital, and the hospital is run into bankruptcy. After all, you are only one of many grieving families who lost loved ones to this reckless management decision, amirite?
So riddle me this, Healthcare Man: what happens when 40% of the hospitals in this Republic shut down? I mean, it will be a crisis, amirite? Someone with have to do something, amirite? And who is ready to do something in a crisis?
Yup. The Fed.Gov.
They'll take over all these "failed Hospitals", and the Fed.Gov will finally have the socialized healthcare that they've always wanted. And all it will take is thousands (tens of thousands? hundreds of thousand? millions?) of dead Americans.
The ancient Romans were said to make a land into a desert, and then call it peace. I mean, there were no more folks opposing their rule after they had killed most of the folks, amirite?
The Fed.Gov will make a desert and then call it "health". This is the end game. Don't let a crisis go to waste.
* It's not The Virus From Hell. You want to see a disease from Hell? Here you go.
** They are an ambulance chasing Law Firm who carpet bomb the Florida airwaves with their commercials.
** Owned by Jon Morgan, a left wing liberal with political aspirations who wants to be Governor of Florida, and is largely responsible for medical marijuana legalization in Florida.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the process of obtaining a religious exemption note from a family friend who works in healthcare. I'm not getting the vaccine, and I'm sure as hell not paying for weekly testing either.
ReplyDeleteSocialized healthcare may be their goal, but I doubt they'll get there.
ReplyDeleteFirst, you need cash. When the brits did that the pound was worth something and they had something of a functioning economy. Pretty hard to stock medical gear when you have to import it. You don't get cash for this when you're passing $3.5T bills to grease your friends palms. Unless you print it, of course.
Second, I can't see states allowing gubmint takeovers. Blue ones, yes. Red ones? No.
They aren't doing that in Texas. So what'll happen is many of those displaced workers will find their way where they are appreciated. So NY healthcare falls apart, Red state healthcare thrives.
They've done a termfull of screwing up and it hasn't been a year. They'll screw this up, guaranteed.
All you have to do is look at the VA to see what is coming... And it ain't pretty. Re sueing, you can't sue the 'vaccine' makers either...
ReplyDeleteThat may be the goal of some Liberals... But I don't think it'll work out that way; too many people (and states) aren't going along.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, there will be a mess along the way, unfortunately.
As far as hospitals closing, that's been happening for years across the country as they are bought and "consolidated" by for profit groups and weighed down by expensive government requirements... Something like 20% of hospitals have closed in the last 15 years.
Long, loooooong before they get there, they'll be hiding in bunkers and swinging from light poles.
ReplyDeleteThere will probably be contests to see who can bag the most bureaucrats.

Indeed, this is what they want. Any of you who have served in the military know what government-run healthcare is like. You WILL take this vaccine. You WILL lose weight. You need Zyrtec? You get Claratin. Claritin doesn't work? Here's your Claritin. Refuse the jab? DISCHARGE. Overweight? DISCHARGE. Too disabled to serve? DISCHARGE. Imagine, if you will, what "DISCHARGE" entails when you're a civilian...
ReplyDeleteYOU.DO.NOT.WANT.GOVERNMENT.RUN.HEALTHCARE!
Cui bono? Who benefits from a shitty medical care system? Look at England and its hideous National Health Service, look at Canada for example. Canadians and their "free health care" would be up the creek if it were not for their proximity to US health care however flawed it may be currently.
ReplyDeleteWho wins? Insurance companies? Doctors? Bureaucrats? Everyone but the patients?
I do not understand this at all.

ReplyDeleteSocialized medicine allows the government to both grant and withdraw access to medical care to those it favors and disfavors. It's about power. (Charlie Gard, et al.) The money is a nice side benefit to them and their supporters and sponsors.
A couple points of order fellas.
ReplyDeleteA plan? Joe Biden is a vegetable. His wife thinks she is a doctor, their son is a crackhead that loses computers full of incriminating evidence. Isn’t your surgeon general a Jewish man in a dress? Those morons can’t plan anything. This power play - if that’s what it is - may just be stupidity and incompetence masquerading as a plan? Another way to look at it is that your leaders hate you and want you dead.
Ordinarily I consider Aesop to be a hot headed idiot prone to paranoia and panic (he spent a year hyping and sensationalizing the pox, after all) - but I think he is bang on the numbers now. I’m not going to fedpoast on your blog…but the I think the swamp wants far more than just socialized medicine. They aren’t going to stop, they are going to have to be stopped.
The final stage is crisis
ReplyDeleteThe lefties are gonna love it.

ReplyDeleteGlen, if you believe the bilge your pumping, calling you retarded would be an insult to retarded kids.
But I'll make it easy: you have my entire blog, all 3239 posts, to date, to pick from.
Feel free to find quotes anywhere therein in context that supports your recockulous proposition.
So either put up, or shut up.
You won't do either, because you're incapable in both cases.
