Johann Heinrich Buttstett - Praeludium et Capriccio

You don't get much more baroque than "pupil of Pachelbel" baroque.   Johann Heinrich Buttstett was one of the last of the great southern German baroque organists, born this day in 1666.

  1. Not sure how it is even possible to play with both hands and both feet, read the music and keep the proper tempo and change the stops as you go.
    Everything happens so fast.
I never heard of this guy. Have you seen the graphic representation of Bach's Toccata and Fugue? That brings it to life and in perspective.
Amazing music. Thanks for the introduction.
