The weather for tomorrow's blogshoot looks good.

 Mostly sunny and in the low '80s.  Lock and load, and we'll see you tomorrow.

  6. Eight months plus hiding from the virus here in the desert and hoping our luck holds. Too many old folks here with too many issues to risk the cross country drive. Hope all who attend have a great time. We'll shoot something out here in your honor.

    Ittai is one of my favorite characters in the Bible. He was a mercenary hired by King David. When Absalom rebelled against his father, David and all who supported him evacuated Jerusalem. David observed all who passed before him. When he saw Ittai, the king called him over and said (paraphrased), "You only arrived yesterday. This is not your fight. Remain here." Ittai replied, "I signed on to fight for you. Whether I arrived yesterday or seven days ago does not matter." David then said, "Pass on, you and your little ones." I think Ittai had several or more mercenaries under his employ, with wives and children. He would have made a good cowboy in later history, "You fight for the brand."
