I don't even know what to make of this

Maybe Paul Krugman has lost his mind.

UPDATE: This is what the story is about, if you haven't already heard.

Paul Krugman is a Nobel laureate economist.

  1. Krugman is also the personification of "broken clock is right twice a day" analogy. Except twice a day is too generous for him.

  2. RIAA or FBI, which one is scarier?

And which one is more corrupt?

Seriously. I've seen the Fibbies screw up a child porn case so bad that no local prosecution could be done, even though cases of proof were seized.

And I've also seen the RIAA screw up a copyright case so bad that no local prosecution could be done, even though cases (of illegally made CDs) and the equipment to make them were seized.

Yes, I understand the first one was parody, just... amazing how both agencies can easily squash some little dude doing (small) illegal things but when it comes to taking down giants of the illegal world tend to fall flat on their faces... almost like someone's getting paid off... but that couldn't be...

    Could it?

As to Paul Krugman, well, considering that he's used his position to attempt to destroy many people's lives, I have no pity for him. And I am seriously wondering if his announcement is smoke-and-mirrors as he attempts to pull a Hillary over illegal emails.

  3. Compromised his...IP address? This makes no sense. If someone is downloading bad stuff to his IP address, then they are inside his network.

  4. Verily, the value of a Nobel is much diminished these days.

It'll be interesting to see if he got hoaxed, hacked, or if he instead just got caught looking at illegal material and he's doing this to cover his tracks.

It isn't what Krugman doesn't know that gets him into trouble, its what he thinks he knows that isn't so.

His confident statement that the markets would never recover once Trump was elected didn't exactly age well.

  5. He might have neglected to set a wifi password, or some such.
