Rest easy, Leatherneck.
We've got the watch.
In March-April 1945 my Dad was an Army Air Corp fighter pilot flying P-51 Mustangs from Iwo Jima, escorting B-29's to the Japanese home islands.
ReplyDeleteThe Marines saved his life on the night of March 26, 1945 when the pilots were attacked by 200-300 suicidal Japanese.
Thank you, Marines.
