Stumpy The Snowman

It's a winter storm in Kentucky. There is a good snow. A guy and his fiancee spend the weekend outside, sledding, snowball fights, and building a snowman. She is from Mississippi, so she's excited to play in the snow. The highlight is building a giant snowman in the yard.

Sometime later, someone driving by decided to drive across the yard and smash the snowman with their truck. When something likes this happens you always wish you catch the vandals. This time, I just wish they could have just filmed it.

Because, to save on the amount of snow they had to pile, and to stabilize the giant snowman, they had built it around a very large stump.

It's too bad the cretins didn't have to be towed after damaging their truck. That would have been icing on the cake. Or ice - as the case may be.

As it is, it's pretty good, though.

KEYBOARD ALERT!
Also, the Consumer Protection Agency has declared this post a Level II Choking Hazard!

What a pity, though. The game cam video would be viral now.

I'm imagining the idiot who did it backing up and seeing the smile on the snowman's face :D

Truck had a grill guard, which is why there are no pieces laying about. Still, a foolish thing to do, since compacted snow can get as hard as ice. BT;DT:

Broke my snow plow mount when the blade hit a pile of snow that had been pushed up in a prior snowstorm. I'd been running the plow for three days, so I was a bit punchy, and Dad had done that parking lot previously. Big storm, mid 60's.

What really bugs me is that the truck had to drive straight at the house to hit the snowman.

Some people shouldn't be let outside without a minder.

Or he backed in, and what you see is the rear bumper and tailgate Mark's on the snow.
