Coming Back Online

We went away for 2 weeks. Took a camping tour of (a few small parts of) the U.S. We drove to Colorado in 3 days, then came back thru New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, etc., taking more time and stopping to see what we could.

All the while, we used the computer to search for interesting stops, navigate, and once a day to check email. What we did not do was follow the news or social media or anything else. Fasting from the usual overload of information.

We took hikes, rode our bikes, drove on Route 66 a bit, stopped at wildlife areas and interesting places. It was our 40th wedding anniversary trip, a time to talk and reflect and appreciate that we still like each other.

As always, I took a lot of pictures. Here's the view from our campsite in Rocky Mountain National Park.

And free from the news, a nice break.

Nice! I was offline for a week last December and it was awesome. You must be loose as a goose.

Well done, sir! Wish I'd known you were coming through Texas, I'd have bought BBQ!
