If Heaven Has a Range

I hope there's a range. Not a range where all the rounds hit the X-ring. That would be boring and pointless.

But a range where the rifle you draw is collector grade and all the ammo is match.

Where the temperatures are good and the light is perfect. Maybe a late afternoon in early October kind of day.

And you are young again, and strong, your vision is good, the front sight is crisp, and it doesn't bother your back to get into the shooting positions.

And if there is, I will see you there my friend. We can work on our offhand.

And every muzzle blast only sounds like a finger snap.
