Socialized medicine is not fair or compassionate to the poor

Proof:

At this point can anyone who ever talked about how awesome national health would be just shut up and sit down in the back of the room?  Grown ups are talking.

  1. I'd say it's high time that Britain followed the advice of H.L. Mencken and hoisted the black flag.

  2. Up here in Canada, Gassy Jack Layton of the NDP (commies) extolled the virtues of our free health care to everyone that would listen. As did our prime minister at the time, Jean Poutine Cretin (fwench liberal). And yet, when both of those elderly a-holes got sick - they scooted south of the border for the posh American private clinics.

That should tell you everything you need to know about socialized medicine.

  3. I had one interaction with socialized medicine, when on a business trip to the UK. A cut became seriously infected. I had money to pay, but still, I waited hours for care, only to have an intern, literally shove a knife into the wound to lance it, without any prep or gel to numb the pain, and a crude bandage after most of the pus drained out. The conditions at the place were beyond unsanitary. I caught a flight back to the states immediately for proper care.

  4. I have to say that the idea behind this image occurred to me a couple of days ago when they first showed up with their baby.

It's hard to imagine that if the Prince and his wife were the ones racked by the pain little Alfie's parents are going through that their child would be put under the same rules.

  5. That tweet causes a haiku-like momemtary brain freeze when its use of compare and contrast shatters one's preconcieved notions.

Sal must be one of those observant thinking people who are so dreaded by the Progs.

Riffing off of Cato the Elder: ...the Progs must be utterly destroyed.
