What you will not read in the papers about the government shutdown

Daughter in Law tells us that the base grocery will shut down Wednesday, which means that there may not be much food left there by now.  It's 30 miles to the nearest off-base grocery.

The Democrats have chosen illegal aliens over military families, but you won't see this in your newspaper.

  1. The commissary system was supposed to run at a slight profit. What happened? Our never closed (Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush) during shutdowns.

  2. Political circus, the clowns and the elephants are at it again ...... Rich people grandstanding over issues that they have no skin in the game on, regardless of the people impacted. You are kidding yourselves if you think either side gives a damn about you or me, we are too far below their social circle to personally matter.

  3. Meanwhile... the FBI has "lost" the record of anti-Trump text messages between agent Strzuk/stroke/whatever and his office lover... it's a big club - and we ain't in it.

  4. Or, as I see it, the Republicans have chosen throwing out young people who are contributing to this country and denying cost-effective health insurance to children over agreeing to a budget.
