I was a dumbshit, apparently. I'm proud of it.

Here's the link and the audio one of the students in room captured. It will be fun to watch this guy try to walk this one back.

"Gregory Salcido is a current member of the Pico Rivera City Council and a history teacher at El Rancho High School. Salcido went off on a tirade after a student wore a sweatshirt featuring the U.S.  Marines Corps. logo on his sweatshirt. "

I've a friend, and despite his liberal comments, he is still a friend, who insists people that join the military do so because they have no other prospects. I've explained more than once why that wrong without any change on his part. I guess ignorance is bliss.

ok, there is a really lousy history teacher! There reason we lost in Viet Nam and Korea, and haven't been able to "win" in
Afghanistan isn't the dumbshit military, it is the dumbshit politicians micromanaging something the vast majority have no clue about. If the pols would get out of the way of the military, there would be far fewer wars, and a lot more peace as the military would go in, knock a few heads around, get the job done and go home.

My guess is that the dumbshit media is the military's biggest PIA. And the prevailing PC environment. I would bet that if the media had been able to report the way they wanted to, we would have lost WW II as well.

I have had the pleasure to work with many "retired" Marines, none of them would fit my definition of a dumbshit...stubborn, yes, but successful in life, and many went on to highly financially successful careers after leaving the military.

That is one dumbshit teacher!!

Liberals hate the military. They hate Christians. Lately they seem to hate men in general, and white men in particular.

I've been trying to figure out why that is, and what these groups have in common and to me it seems that they all strive to meet higher standards as aa group, they are often willing to work to better themselves, and they aren't shy about helping others too. Maybe I'm wrong - I certainly hope so.
