The one difference I would note is that the Confederate Army was well known for being able to hit what they were aiming for. Not sure that's the case with the "men in white".

Turns out the guy is Black, and is sure no Black would ever join such a group, and this is what he thinks is the best way to hide his Blackness.
Of course, if he ever goes to a hive, he better not wear this outfit unless he wants to experience some Polar Bear hunting...
