Fortunately of this blog, there's no rule saying you need to keep your posts short!

    Don't use run-on sentences because each idea needs its own stand-alone sentence and putting multiple different thoughts into a single statement can make things hard for a reader to parse and we all know that clarity is a goal towards which we should all strive and striving is the thing amirite?
